Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking tray ith parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter, sugar and almond extract until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and beat thoroughly
  4. Gradually sift in the flour, baking powder and add the chopped almonds and mix well.
  5. Roll the dough into a ball and place in the refridgerator for an hour.
  6. Break the dough into small bitesize pieces and place them on the baking tray.
  7. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
