- 6 baking potatoes
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 1 stick Butter
- Pinch of salt
- Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil. Peel and chop the potatoes into equal sized chunks and boil until soft.
- Drain the potatoes and put back in the pan. Sit the potatoes on the stove again the dry out any excess water. Add the stick of butter and mash.
- Peel and slice or mince your garlic cloves and add to the potatoes and continue to mash until smooth.
- Place in a casserole dish and bake for 15 minutes until the top is a crispy golden brown.
