Craft Project: Felt Honey Hives

I love to put branches in a vase as the centerpiece on my Rosh Hashanah table. And what better to decorate these branches with than the symbols of Rosh Hashanah that we know and love? How cute is this honey hive? It’s super easy to make:

You’ll need some burlap or similar fabric for the back, and some yellow gingham for the front. I also use a tiny bit of brown felt for the ‘door’ and a strip of white felt to create the loop.

Cut out the hives, one slight larger than the other in the fabrics of your choice.

Hot glue or sew them on. Add the door and the loop top and voila! You’re done.

Aren’t they fab?
