I firmly believe the buzz surrounding winter festivities shouldn’t be ignored by Jewish families. Just because we don’t buy into the commercial hype of Christmas doesn’t mean our children should feel any loss. In reality, all winter festivities regardless of religion should be centered on love and family. The heart of Jewish family life for me centers around food, therefore I make a fuss of decorating the holiday table.
Try: Wrapping silver garlands around the center of the table and around plates.

Silver garlands, white lights and a few glitter baubles make a winter meal very exciting indeed!
Try: Putting white lights into a glass vase for an alternative to candles.
I hope these photos of my home inspire you!
