I love Herring! Herring is a great fish, it’s healthy and packed full of protein. It’s an oily fish and many people describe it as a ‘fishy fish’ but don’t let this put you off! It’s great pickled and you can usually pick this up from food stores in a jar. I serve my herring with cream and chives to balance the salty flavor.

Ingredients
- 1 Jar of Pickled Herring
- Juice of half lemon
- 2 tbs sour cream
- Handful Fresh Chives
Instructions
- Plate up the herring and squeeze over the juice of half a lemon.
- Chop up some fresh chives.
- Serve with a two dollops of sour cream.
