Sweet Potato Chips

Autumn makes me crave harvest vegetables. Sweet potatoes are my favourite. This is a great recipe.  Sweet Potatoe Chips are a great variation on the traditional potato chip. They are like steak fries, but less carbs and obviously sweet tasting. They are easy to make and compliment many dishes this time of year.  They are even great on their own as a snack. Make a lot, they won’t last!










Sweet Potato Chips
Prep time: 5 mins
Cook time: 25 mins
Total time: 30 mins
Serves: 4
  • 4 sweet potatoes
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Vinegar
  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Peel and chop the potatoes into chips.
  3. Bring a large pan of well salted boiling water to the boil. Add the potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Drain the half-cooked spuds in a colinder, shaking from side to side.
  5. Season with salt and drizzle on some oil before placing in the oven for 25 minutes. Turn the chips occasionally to brown evenly.
  6. Serve with salt and vinegar.
